Winners of the Chuff Awards May 2008 are:

Ms Irma Deas from The Workshops Rail Museum for 'Excellent Customer Service' and Mr Alex Wright from the Australian Railway Historical Society Qld Division for excellent service 'Behind the Scenes'.

Irma Deas is a highly valued member of the volunteer team at The Workshops Rail Museum.  She has worked across a number of areas within the collections and curatorial section since the opening of the museum in 2002.

Alex Wright is a volunteer with the Australian Railway Historical Society Queensland Division in Townsville.
 
Alex works tirelessly as a volunteer supporting the activities of the Australian Railway Historical Society.  His cheerful nature and willingness to help make him a valuable member of the Townsville team.
