The Association of Tourist Railways Queensland Inc (ATRQ) is a collective
voice to represent the heritage rail tourism industry in Queensland to government,  industry and rail regulators. The ATRQ provides a forum where rail operators  can interact and co-operatively develop the heritage rail tourism industry  in a changing business and regulatory environment.
The ATRQ promotes a united and common approach to assist members with issues  that are affecting this sector of the rail industry.

The Chuff Awards recognise the valuable contribution that staff, whether voluntary or paid,  make to Queensland's heritage rail tourism sector.
These awards also raise the profile of the service that volunteers/staff of the ATRQ members  make to the community. There are two categories; for the 'Behind the Scenes' workers,  and for those who provide 'Excellent Service' to their customers.
